Dedham, MA--The Buttermilk Five returned to their home away from home at Connell Field on Friday night, but home cooking could not help drum up any offense as the Pancakes were shutout 12-0 by the first place Brew Crew.The Buttermilk bats were quiet all night and only mustered 5 hits. Even with the loss, the Hotcakes are sitting in the 12 spot for the 18-team tournament that is the Boston West C Division Playoffs.
With the final regular season game not needed for post season qualification, the pancakes are awaiting their first round matchup.
Team Skipper, Chris Hogan said, "I hope we have more than 5 hits in our next fucking game. Seriously, 5 fucking hits?"
